Dr. Derby loves painting, learning about art, and the opportunity to make anything beautiful. For her, dentistry offers the opportunity to combine healthcare and beauty in a way that impacts people’s lives.
She is a proud graduate of Penn State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the Eberly College of Science at University Park. After completion of her undergraduate studies, she remained in Pennsylvania to attend The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. There she was mentored by top clinicians and graduated with Honors in Clinical Dentistry.
She continued her education and graduated from Harvard University's competitive Advanced Prosthodontics program with a Masters Degree in Oral Biology--a distinction achieved by few dentists.
Dr. Derby has shared her skills by teaching and mentoring upcoming dentists at the predoctoral level at The University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Dental Center. She is an active member of several dental associations including the American Dental Association (ADA), Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA), The Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics (GNYAP), and the American College of Prosthodontists.
Beyond dentistry, she loves to cook, travel, practice yoga, and try new Philly restaurants!
Dr. Presser is a prosthodontist and periodontist who specializes in esthetic reconstructive dentistry, gum disease prevention and treatment, and dental implant placement and restoration. His specialties required an additional three years of training after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
While in dental school, he received several awards, including the E. Howell Smith Award for outstanding achievement and proficiency in prosthetic dentistry, and the Henry B. Robinson Award for the highest proficiency in all phases of clinical dentistry. Dr. Presser was also granted membership in two of the most prestigious honorary dental societies: the Omicron Kappa Upsilon and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Presser lectures nationally and has authored several scientific papers, one of which was published in Science magazine. Dr. Presser is a member of national and international dental societies, and he serves on the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania as a clinical assistant professor.
Prior to dental school, he studied fine arts, and he still paints and sculpts in his spare time. He also enjoys cooking, baking artisan breads, reading, and listening to classical music.
Janet and Annie are dedicated front office members with over 50 years of combined dental experience in managing patient interactions and ensuring smooth operations in the office. Known for their friendly demeanor and exceptional organizational skills, they excel at scheduling appointments, responding to inquiries, coordinating patient care, and providing a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the door. They love traveling and spending quality time with their family and friends.
With 20 years of expertise as a dental assistant and hygienist, Tiffany is a leading compassionate and experienced hygienist who provides exceptional patient care. Skilled in performing thorough cleanings, periodontal maintenance therapy, and patient education, she is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain top notch oral health. Tiffany's gentle touch puts patients at ease and she takes pride in building trusting relationships and promoting long-term dental wellness. Her commitment to staying current with the latest industry practices ensures that every patient receives the highest standard of care. Tiffany enjoys being active and weekends in Cape May.
Karen and Andrea assist with providing exceptional support to both patients and the dental staff. Highly trained Karen has specialty education as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) and over 30 years of dental experience to assist or work independently to deliver a comfortable chair-side patient experience. And for 45 years Andrea has been a key auxiliary to this practice by managing treatment rooms and supplies. With a keen attention to detail, Karen and Andrea help to ensure efficient daily workflow in the office. Noted as having a patient-centered approach, they work to create an efficient environment, ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and well cared for. Karen is a dedicated soccer mom and Andrea enjoys vacationing with her husband.
